Well, I always thought it worked for me, so I never did anything about it. But I get teased about it all the time! And then I found an article on the "science" behind tabs. Well, you know me, I like tabs so I opened it and read it. And it said I should close all my tabs and that multiple tabs can lead to stress (maybe that's what it's been all these years) and a big lapse in productivity. The article said I should try it one day a week, but I'm adopting what I call the "one tab life" as in one tab all day, every day.
And thus far, I have to say it has made me more productive. I don't know if it helps a lot with the stress yet, but time will tell I guess. It does help me to focus and I feel less distracted as I work.
All in all, it feels like a big continuation in the purge that God is doing in my life. It all began with moving. First I got rid of physical stuff. Then the emotional lies and things (obviously still going on). And now, my beloved tabs.
So try it out. The "one tab llife." And let me know if it works for you. Or maybe you're already one of those perfect people who never has more than one tab open.
Purge your junk. Outlive the lies. One tab life.
